To support our team we are looking for an experienced

Quality Manager 

as a parental leave substitution for an expected minimum of 1 year - in full-time for our Munich location (partly remote working possible)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Control: Testing & Inspection

• Conduct product checks, releases, and compliance testing.
• Manage product retention and reject defective items.
• Review batch records and test results from manufacturers.

Quality Assurance: Process Compliance & Prevention

• Oversee product specifications, batch approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Handle change management, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Investigate complaints and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Quality Management: Risk & Compliance

• Define and enforce quality policies and KPIs.
• Oversee supplier agreements and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage recalls if needed.
• Drive strategic quality initiatives and continuous improvement.
   

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) within the cosmetics, food industries, or pharmaceutical.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO standards (ISO 22716 for cosmetics).
• Knowledge of raw materials, formulations, and troubleshooting/reprocessing. 
• Understanding of quality processes.
• Fluent English as a must, German or French desirable
• Efficient communicator
